We've agreed to just say that "Saturday didn't happen." Yes, we did get to Boston in the morning, yes we spent many hours layover in Logan and yes, we did board the plane to London, but no, we did not go to London. We'll leave it at that.
Grace Lin is included in a mural in the "kids" area at Boston Logan. Around this time we were notified that our bid for a large hotel room was accepted and so instead of a very small one room, we had a rather large one bedroom apartment. (When the bid was entered, it said "very weak" under it! But, we figured they wouldn't have the bigger room available for all eight nights anyway, or if they did, they'd be eager to accept a bid for so many nights.) Anyway, we were excited and things were looking great.
